Election Crisis: Woman stabbed in the face at polling unit in Osun

A woman has been stabbed in the face at polling unit during an altercation with another woman while they waited to cast their votes in Osun state. According to a report by hit.ng, the incident took place at the Lagere area of Ile-Ife in Osun.
The lady whose name could not be verified at the time was stabbed by another voter while on the queue. A fight had ensued over who was and who wasn’t on the said queue.According to witnesses present at the scene of the incident, the victim was stabbed in the face with a bottle. The Police in the state has reportedly arrested the assailant
Speaking on the incident, AIG Adeleye Oyebade who is in charge of Zone 11 in Osun, has confirmed the incident and investigation will start after the election.
Election Crisis: Corps members run for safety as gunmen invade polling unit in Rivers
National Youth Service Corps members working as ad hoc staff for INEC has escaped death after gunmen reportedly invaded a polling unit in Rivers State.
The incident reportedly occurred in Bonny local government, Rivers State and the gunmen were reported to be over 20.
They invaded the unit with dangerous weapons, shooting sporadically, carting away ballot boxes, looting and robbing electoral officers.
As at the time of this report, the unit is deserted, everyone has scampered for safety.

Election crisis: Thugs take over polling booth in Okota-Lagos to burn votes and ballot boxes
Thugs suspected to be supporters of the All Progressives Congress in Lagos have disrupted the electoral process in Ago palace way, Okota area of Lagos.
According to an eyewitness, the thugs disrupted voting process at PU 035 and 036 Junction of Adeneken St./Alh. Olusesi street and the Booth along Adeneken Street/ Olusesi respectively.
Below are photos a video that alleges that a suspected ballot box snatcher was beaten to stupor before he was set ablaze.
